August 26-October 7, 2010

  • 6:00 PM: Introduction to the New Testament: The Life of Christ by Dr. Ray Stonecypher, Pastor, Piney Grove Baptist Church.  Bible Teaching Certificate.  The required textbook is Step by Step Through the New Testament by Thomas D. Lea and Tom Hudson.
  • 8:00 PM: Discipling Church Members by David O. Cofield, Pastor, CrossRoads Baptist Church Pastoral Ministries Certificate.  The required textbook is Spiritual Disciplines For The Christian LIfe by Donald S. Whitney.

 October 21-December 9, 2010

  • 6:00 PM: Introduction to the New Testament:  The Early Church by Dr. Bobby Burt, Pastor, University Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL Bible Teaching Certificate.   <!--StartFragment-->The required textbook will be announced.       <!--EndFragment-->
  • 8:00 PM: New Testament Book of Revelation Dr. Dan Hughes, Pastor, Emmanuel Baptist Church, Athens, AL Pastoral Ministries Certificate.  The required textbook will be announced.    <!--EndFragment-->

Term III - Exact dates to be determined (mid-January through mid-March)

  • 6:00 PM: Introduction to the New Testament:  The LIfe of Paul by  Robert Fullerton, Director of Missions, Limestone Baptist Association, Athens, AL  Bible Teaching Certificate.   The required textbook will be announced.      
  • 8:00 PM: Homiletics by Dr. Charles Freeman, Pastor, Hillwood Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL Pastoral Ministries Certificate.  The required textbook will be announced.   

 Term IV - Exact dates to be determined (mid-March through mid-May)

  • 6:00 PM: New Testament Book Study.  Bible Teaching Certificate.   The required textbook will be announced.      
  • 8:00 PM: Introduction to Christian Education by Dr. Bobby Burt, Pastor, University Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL Pastoral Ministries Certificate.  The required textbook will be announced.   

To register, attend the first class that you wish to enroll. Bring your check for tuition which is $100 per course.  If you have not applied, then attend the first class you wish to enroll, fill out an application and pay $25.00 per certificate program in which you wish to enroll. (Make checks payable to NOBTS).
