At FBC we understand the unique spiritual and lifestyle needs of today’s maturing/senior adults. We strive to meet those needs in a personal way each day in a dynamic environment that is just as unique as you. It is our desire to exalt the name of Jesus, edify believers, enhance the work of the local church, and evangelize the lost. · Keenagers (monthly meeting) We meet the second Monday of each month at 10:00 am in the Family Life Center. Bring your favorite covered dish and join us for fun, food, and fellowship. (photos) · Forever Young Singers (maturing/senior adult choir) Practice is every Thursday morning at 10:00 in the choir practice room. · Tender Hearts (ministry to widows/single women) A loving ministry to further develop healthy relationships, Godly character, Biblical values and represent Christ within our church family. · Bible Conferences God’s Word is an important part of the ministry at FBC. Each year Maturing/Senior Adults from across the United States and Canada gather in beautiful Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the annual Celebrators Conference. (photos) · Retreats Shocco Springs located in Talladega, Alabama offer opportunities for Maturing/Senior Adults in the spring and fall each year. · Adult VBS

· Outreach to Shut-ins and Nursing Homes At First Baptist we believe in an ongoing ministry, not only to our shut-in members but to others in our community. We also have an active ministry at many of our local nursing homes. · Day Trips During the year our Maturing/Senior Adults have the opportunity to visit many of our area’s historical, cultural, and entertaining attractions.
